> Adult Agriculture

This program is designed to assist clientele with questions concerning home and commercial horticulture.
 
> Master Gardener
Contact: Jerry Lamb
The Master Gardener program is designed to train volunteers in all aspects of gardening. Topics covered include botany, care and culture of vegetables, small fruit and tree fruit production, turf grass, insect control and management, pesticides, ornamental weed control and controlling and attracting wildlife. Cost is $100 and includes the Master Gardener Handbook. The next series of classes is scheduled to being on January 27, 2009 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. in Dayton. > Master Beef Producer program

The Master Beef Producer program is an educational program designed to provide information to Tennessee cow-calf producers to help them be the very best in the country, improve their profitability and position the industry to be competitive with other states. The next series of classes will begin on February 3 - March 31, 2009 and will be held weekly. Classes will be held in Dayton from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Cost is $150, but a $100 scholarship is available for those who are BQA certified and have a premise ID #. > Master Meat Goat Producer Program

The Master Meat Goat Producer Program is designed as an educational tool to provide information and insight to broaden production management skills and improve the competition advantage in the market place toward increased profitability for the meat goat producer.
